Before we head into the next decade... 2019 was our first full year for this project and we've been fortunate enough to have had some amazing experiences. From travelling overseas (highlights London & Los Angeles), writing/recording in studios we thought we would never see in our life time, shooting our first music video, testing out our live show for the first time, we've experienced way more than we set out to achieve in this relatively short time for Ministry of Mars. Thank you to everyone who's supported this project from streaming/downloading our music, sharing our music around, liking our content, leaving comments or messaging about the songs, it means a lot. And thank you to all the people who have been involved with us from collaborators, artists and studios we have worked with this year, it's been a blast. To give you a little insight and update on new music for 2020.... We have an excessive amount of demos, song ideas and nearly finished tracks that we've been working our way through. We're currently working on two tracks in particular, their working titles being 'Dancing By Myself' and 'Without You'. If you came and saw us test out our live show back in September you would have heard us play the demo of DBM for the first time. (Side note those that have been asking from the show, 'Green Light' may come out one day 😉). 'Without You' is one of the many songs we wrote during our time in LA. We can't say much more about those tracks yet, but we hope you get to hear them really soon. In short we're really excited for 2020. This has been a crazy first year for us. Here's our first 'Spotify Wrapped' and all we can really say is thank you. We didn't think our music would get around that much, especially to all 79 countries that Spotify is available in, that's insane. Now back to finishing this new music we wrote in LA. - Alistair & Jon ❤️❤️
